Job Description

We are offering two exciting internships within our Global FP&A team at our international headquarters in Amsterdam. Both roles will give you a solid foundation in financial planning and analysis, exposure to global processes, and hands-on experience with automation and data visualization tools like Power BI. 

While both internships share common learning opportunities, each has a unique focus: 

Shared Responsibilities: 

  • Learn FP&A fundamentals and support day-to-day reporting. 
  • Build Power BI dashboards and automate reports for finance and business teams. 
  • Translate data into insights and contribute to process improvements. 
  • Work closely with global stakeholders and live our values: Make it Simple, Own it, Win Together, Dare to Amaze. 

Role 1 – Global Consolidation and Analysis 

  • Understand and provide weekly updates about the volume & sales tracking. 
  • Support and improve the process of collection, validation, and facilitation of monthly Capital Expenditure Requests. 
  • Support monthly reporting and analysis of Global Supply results. 
  • Support the automation of standard reports using Power BI dashboards. 

Role 2 – Regional Insights 

  • Support market share reporting, pricing analysis, and regional performance insights. 
  • Create dashboards and decision-support tools for our regions with Excel & Power BI.

Qualifications

Are you bursting with fresh ideas and a hunger for learning? We want you!  

Here's what we're looking for:  

  • Academic Program: You are enrolled in a MSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Finance.  
  • Skillset: You possess strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English – Having some similar hands-on experience with food research activities is always a benefit.  
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.  
  • Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least six months to this internship, preferably from end of February till August 2026.  
  • Availability: You can join the internship for 5 days per week, including three or four days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.  
  • As we hope to have piqued your interest, please ensure you also meet the eligibility criteria and academic requirements:  
  • Your internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results.  
  • Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.  
  • You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
